The History of
The Life Center Ministries

Word of Deliverance Life Center Ministries was birthed January 2000, beginning with a total of 9 members in the home of Bishop Sippy & Lady Sherdell Sellers.  When the doors of this new ministry first opened, it started out as a bible study.  As God blessed and increased the congregation in numbers, the home of Pastor Sellers was no longer able to hold all of the attendees, so, the fellowship moved to a local Holiday Inn to have service.

After a period of only four months of having service at the Holiday Inn, the congregation transitioned to 4001 Darwin Street as God continued to bless as He saw fit.  In the summer of 2005, Bishop Sellers heard the voice of God to change the name of the ministry from Word of Deliverance Life Center Ministries to the current “The Life Center Ministries.”

September 2006 brought forth a time for The Life Center to transition once again.  God granted favor to The Life Center through a Lady by the name of Ms. Theaola Robinson, owner and founder of Benji’s Academy Charter School, by opening the doors of her school where we hosted worship services for little over a year. We then transitioned to 14641 Gladebrook, where we currently reside.  God is moving greatly and adding to the church, and is creating opportunities once again for The Life Center to make an impact in the community.
